Fyi the Dawnstar Chest glitch wasn't patched with the update, for anyone who was wondering. Also, since it's the inventory for a Khajiit caravan, you can use it to get some Rare Curios items. Hope this helps someone out.
In Dawnstar, just left of the entrance to Iron-Breaker Mine, are a tree and three rocks. Approach the rock in the back and look down at it and you will receive a prompt to open a chest. Do so and you will find large quantities of equipment (both enchanted and standard), gold, crafting consumables and potions.1. Fast travel to Dawnstar. 2. Walk all the way down the road until you see a shelter with a wheelbarrow. 3. You will see two rocks and a bush right next to where the house is. 4. Go into sneak mode (crouch) and walk in between the two rocks. 5. There will be an option to open a chest, but there won't be a chest there.I would run from the chest to sell to the cats by the entrance to dawn star every time. Yeah, you asked the Cat what she had for sale every 48 hours. That replenished her stock which in turn replenished the stock of the hidden chest. I found it just as it was before. However, I cannot get it to reset. The caravan never comes to Dawnstar so I cannot speak with them to get it reset. Any ideas? Even without the caravan coming around, the chest will reset after about 20 in-game days. And don't forget there are 2 more chests.
